Job Description:
- The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities across experiential marketing projects, brand activations, and corporate operations.
- The role ensures cost-effective sourcing, timely delivery, vendor reliability, and strategic procurement that supports creative project execution and business profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and business goals.
- Collaborate with project and client service teams to anticipate material and service needs for campaigns and activations.
- Create and maintain a vendor sourcing and evaluation framework for transparency and compliance.
Vendor & Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and service providers for event materials, logistics, production, fabrication, and other marketing needs.
- Negotiate favourable terms, pricing, and timelines to achieve cost efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent quality and innovation.
Project Procurement Execution:
- Support all project leads with timely procurement to meet project timelines.
- Ensure proper documentation for all purchase orders, approvals, and vendor payments.
- Track and monitor procurement progress during campaign execution to minimise risks or delays.
Financial & Compliance Management:
- Partner with the Finance team to ensure accurate cost forecasting, purchase reconciliation, and reporting.
- Implement procurement policies, controls, and compliance with internal and external audit standards.
- Review and approve purchase orders within delegated limits.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting:
- Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for savings or process improvement.
- Introduce digital procurement tools or systems for improved efficiency.
- Generate periodic procurement performance reports (cost savings, vendor performance, turnaround time).
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA or CIPS certification is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in marketing, media, or FMCG.
- Proven experience managing vendors, contracts, and budgets in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP tools.
