We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Medical Laboratory Scientist to anchor the diagnostic engine of our healthcare operations in Makurdi. In a specialized medical landscape where patient outcomes are dictated by the speed of the result and the precision of the analysis success is defined by "Clinical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize laboratory workflows with the clinical precision required for Chemical Pathology, Hematology, Medical Microbiology, and Histopathology. This role is designed for a "Diagnostic Architect" with relevant professional qualifications who can blend "Laboratory Grit" (performing complex assays and blood counts) with the "Strategic Agility" required to maintain a "Source of Truth" for Quality Control and Patient Reporting.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Diagnostic Governance

• Analytical Sovereignty: Perform routine and specialized laboratory investigations across various disciplines, acting as the primary "Source of Diagnostic Truth."

• Validation Architecture: Verify and validate test results with millimetric focus, providing the "Structural Foundation" for accurate physician decision-making.

• Integrity Stewardship: Maintain meticulous records of all laboratory findings, ensuring the "Source of Patient Data" is elite, uncompromised, and confidential.

2. Tactical Resilience & Quality Logic

• QC Sovereignty: Implement and monitor Internal Quality Control (IQC) and External Quality Assurance (EQA) protocols, acting as the primary "Source of Laboratory Accuracy."

• Instrumentation Architecture: Manage the calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment, providing the "Functional Foundation" for uninterrupted diagnostic throughput.

• Safety Stewardship: Enforce strict adherence to biosafety protocols and waste management standards, maintaining the "Source of Environmental Safety."

3. Operational Integrity & Professional Power

• Consultative Sovereignty: Collaborate with medical practitioners to interpret complex results, acting as the primary "Source of Clinical Intelligence."

• Inventory Architecture: Monitor and manage laboratory reagents and consumables to prevent stock-outs, providing the "Relational Foundation" for continuous service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Relevant qualifications in Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS or equivalent).

• Licensing: Current practicing license from the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).

• Technical Power: Proficiency in automated laboratory analyzers and manual bench techniques.
