We are seeking a high-resilience and assertive Loan Collection Officer to join our recovery team in Ikeja. In the micro-lending and financial services sector, success is defined by "Recovery Velocity", the ability to utilize persuasive communication and psychological conviction to secure overdue payments. This role is designed for a "Resilient Negotiator" who can blend "Assertive Diplomacy" with the "Mental Grit" required to meet aggressive performance targets in a high-pressure environment.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Latency Debt Recovery and Systematic Portfolio Health." You will be the primary engine of our collections department: responsible for multi-channel engagement via telephone, SMS, and WhatsApp, while maintaining meticulous records of customer interactions. Requirements:
1. Assertive Negotiation & Recovery Orchestration
Multi-Channel Engagement: Contact overdue customers through professional yet assertive telephone calls, SMS, and WhatsApp to negotiate repayment terms.
Conviction Mastery: Use strong communication skills and persuasive techniques to overcome debtor objections and secure commitment to pay.
Portfolio Stewardship: Manage a daily list of assigned delinquent accounts, prioritizing high-risk cases to maximize recovery rates.
2. Operational Rigor & System Integrity
Procedural Compliance: Strictly adhere to established work procedures and internal debt recovery guidelines to ensure ethical and effective collections.
Data Accuracy: Maintain meticulous records of every customer interaction within the tracking system, ensuring all data is updated in real-time.
Task Discipline: Complete all daily assigned recovery tasks and outreach quotas as dictated by departmental supervisors.
3. Performance Excellence & Growth
Metric-Driven Results: Operate with a focus on hitting Daily and Weekly performance bonuses through high-volume successful recoveries.
Skill Immersion: Participate in rigorous in-office training sessions to enhance operational skills, negotiation tactics, and psychological resilience.

Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, OND, NCE, or equivalent experience.
Communication Mastery: Clear, assertive, and persuasive verbal and written skills in English (and relevant local dialects).
