Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced Indian Key Account Manager to manage and grow strategic client relationships in Nigeria.
  • The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in structured markets to drive business growth, optimize account performance, and deliver excellent customer service within the Nigerian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with key accounts across Nigeria
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and key clients
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor client performance, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, operations, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless execution
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with key clients
  • Ensure timely resolution of client issues and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to management
  • Support market expansion initiatives and identify new key accounts
  • Experience working with multinational companies or in cross-border roles is an added advantage
  • Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving market like Nigeria

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development
  • Proven track record of managing large/key accounts, preferably in telecom, FMCG, electronics, or related industries
  • Experience working in emerging markets or willingness to adapt to the Nigerian business environment
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of commercial and business acumen
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to relocate and travel within Nigeria
  • Nationality: Indian
