Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and deeply compassionate Healthcare Assistant to anchor the recovery engine of our Abraham Adesanya-based facility. In a specialized rehabilitation landscape where patient wellness is dictated by the speed of response and the precision of the care protocol success is defined by "Recovery Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize clinical procedures with the emotional intelligence required for Infection Control, Personal Care, and Therapeutic Engagement. This role is designed for a "Wellness Architect" with a Caregiver’s Certificate and 1–3 years of experience who can blend "Tactical Grit" (mastering patient transfers with hoists and slide sheets) with the "Strategic Empathy" required to support families during the recovery journey.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Hygiene Governance

• Personal Sovereignty: Render elite personal care including bed bathing and assisted bathroom protocols with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Patient Dignity."

• Sanitation Architecture: Execute 2-hourly position changes and manage soiled linens/diapers, providing the "Structural Foundation" for pressure sore prevention and skin integrity.

• Integrity Stewardship: Maintain absolute patient confidentiality and respect for privacy, ensuring the "Source of Clinical Trust" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Ambulation Logic

• Transfer Sovereignty: Utilize Glide/Slide sheets and hoists to facilitate patient ambulation, acting as the primary "Source of Safe Mobility."

• Clinical Architecture: Perform oral care, patient feeding, and wound dressing preparation following the Standard of Practice, providing the "Functional Foundation" for clinical success.

• Infection Stewardship: Adhere to strict Infection Prevention/Control practices and PPE protocols, maintaining the "Source of Environmental Safety."

3. Operational Integrity & Emotional Power

• Communication Sovereignty: Engage patients in therapeutic activities (music, storytelling, games), acting as the primary "Source of Mental Stimulation."

• Empathy Architecture: Offer emotional support to patients and families using appropriate clinical language, providing the "Relational Foundation" for holistic recovery.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Active Listening to respond to patient needs promptly, maximizing the "Source of Recovery Throughput" in Lekki.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Certification: Must possess a valid Caregiver’s Certificate.

• Experience: 1 – 3 years of proven experience in a nursing facility or rehabilitation center.

• Technical Power: Knowledge of Infection Control and the use of mobility aids (Hoists, Slide sheets).

• Attributes: Dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented.
