Job Description:
Accounts & Documentation Support:
- Receive, log, and verify all invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents.
- Post supplier invoices and other financial transactions into the accounting system (Sage 300) under supervision.
- Maintain a systematic, up-to-date filing system for vouchers, receipts, and related records (both physical and digital).
- Track outstanding invoices and assist in preparing payment batches for approval.
Cash & Expense Management:
- Support the management of petty cash, ensuring proper disbursement and replenishment procedures.
- Review and process staff expense claims and retirements, confirming that receipts and supporting documents are complete and compliant.
- Assist with bank deposit preparation and documentation of cash and cheque transactions.
Reporting & Audit Support:
- Retrieve and organize financial documents for reconciliations, audits, and donor reporting.
- Assist in monthly reconciliations of vendor accounts, cash advances, and petty cash balances.
- Support the Finance Officer in preparing periodic financial summaries or schedules as needed.
Team & Process Support:
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure all records comply with MOWAA’s financial policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the Finance Unit, including correspondence, filing, and logistics for finance activities.
- Contribute to process improvements and system updates to strengthen documentation and accountability.
Other Duties:
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or administrative support.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
- Experience with accounting software (Sage 300 preferred) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
