Job Description:

We are looking for an ambitious, numbers-driven young professional to join our Finance & Accounts Department. This role is an exceptional entry point for high-achieving graduates to gain comprehensive exposure to the full accounting cycle from daily transaction processing to regulatory compliance. Requirements:

• Transaction Processing: Support the preparation, review, and filing of all financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.

• System Data Entry: Assist in accurately posting financial transactions into our accounting system.

• Reconciliation: Support the team in performing critical bank, customer, vendor, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Accounts Management: Track and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure healthy cash flow and accurate ledger status.

• Statutory Compliance: Assist in the documentation required for tax and statutory obligations, including VAT, WHT, PAYE, and Pension remittances.

• Reporting & Auditing: Help prepare periodic financial reports and ensure all records are audit-ready and systematically filed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of Second Class Upper Division in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Experience: Maximum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, banking, or consulting.

• Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • A solid grasp of fundamental accounting principles and financial processes.

• Professional Aspirations: Progress toward professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, or ACA) is highly valued and considered a strong advantage.
