Job Description:
- The Facility Manager / Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of facility management services, ensuring efficient service delivery, client satisfaction, operational excellence, and profitability across multiple sites.
- The successful candidate will lead teams, manage contractors, ensure compliance with service standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee facility operations across assigned client sites.
- Ensure delivery of services in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Supervise facility staff, technicians, cleaners, and contractors.
- Monitor Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Systems performance.
- Manage operational budgets and control costs effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Prepare operational reports, performance dashboards, and management updates.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Lead incident management and emergency response activities.
- Support business development efforts through client retention and service enhancement.

Requirements:
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree/HND in Engineering, Facility Management, Estate Management, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience:
- Must have 5–8 years relevant experience in Facility Management, Operations Management, Property Management, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing multiple facilities or client sites.
- Experience in managing technical teams and service contractors.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent client relationship management abilities.
- Sound knowledge of facility maintenance and building systems.
- Budgeting and cost control expertise.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Knowledge of HSE standards and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
