Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite Electrical and Mechanical (MEP) Draftsman to anchor the design engine of our Ikoyi-based operations. In the specialized landscape of Lagos luxury construction and infrastructure, success is defined by "Technical Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex design features with the clinical precision required for Multi-View Drawings, Schematic Logic, and Technical Illustrations. This role is designed for a "Schematic Architect" with at least 5 years of experience who can blend "Drafting Grit" (preparing block diagrams and detail drawings) with the "Analytical Agility" required to review engineering designs for adherence to established client specifications.

Requirements:

1. Schematic Orchestration & Design Governance

• Visualization Sovereignty: Prepare complex multi-view and detail drawings with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Design Clarity."

• Standards Architecture: Review engineering drawings to ensure 100% adherence to client specifications and industry standards, providing the "Structural Foundation" for technical integrity.

• Illustration Stewardship: Develop mechanical/electrical schematics and technical illustrations, ensuring the "Source of System Logic" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Documentation Logic

• Package Sovereignty: Organize complete system drawing packages for large-scale projects, acting as the primary "Source of Project Readiness."

• Drafting Architecture: Utilize AutoCAD to portray complex design features that require advanced visualization skills, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for construction accuracy.

• Process Stewardship: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction industry practices and procedures, maintaining the "Source of Technical Foresight."

3. Operational Integrity & Digital Power

• CAD Sovereignty: Execute high-fidelity drafting using computer-aided design software, acting as the primary "Source of Digital Precision."

• System Architecture: Utilize the Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, Word) to support technical documentation, providing the "Administrative Foundation" for design management.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of hands-on experience to transition from concept to finalized schematic in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Design Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in MEP drafting within the construction industry.

• Education: Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Technology or a related field.

• Tech Mastery: Expert proficiency in AutoCAD and PC operations (MS Office Suite, including Access).

• Skills: Excellent visualization skills and the ability to work with little or no supervision.

• Location: Based in or able to commute to Ikoyi, Lagos.
