Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and highly motivated Customer Service Representative to be the front-line ambassador for our brand. Located in our Benin City hub, this role is for a professional who understands that every customer interaction is an opportunity to build trust and long-term loyalty.

You will be responsible for managing a high volume of inquiries across multiple channels—phone, email, and social media—while ensuring that issues are resolved with speed and precision. This is a shift-based role that requires a blend of emotional intelligence, technical skill in CRM platforms, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Requirements:

1. Multi-Channel Inquiry Management

  • Communication Triage: Effectively manage and respond to customer inquiries across phone, email, and social media, ensuring no message goes unanswered.

  • Information Expert: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing accurate and comprehensive product/service details to prospective and existing customers.

  • Order Orchestration: Accurately process customer orders and transactions, ensuring a seamless journey from initial contact to fulfillment.

2. Conflict Resolution & Problem Solving

  • Service Recovery: Respond to customer complaints with empathy and efficiency, resolving issues in a manner that restores customer confidence.

  • Issue Escalation: Identify high-priority or complex technical issues and escalate them to the appropriate department using established protocols.

  • Team Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with logistics, sales, or technical teams to ensure 360-degree customer satisfaction.

3. Data Integrity & Operational Excellence

  • CRM Governance: Maintain meticulous records of all customer interactions and transactions within our CRM and Google Workspace (Spreadsheets).

  • Workload Prioritization: Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing urgent tickets without compromising service quality.

  • Continuous Feedback: Identify recurring customer pain points and provide feedback to management to improve overall service delivery.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a customer-focused or similar support role.

  • Location: Must reside in Benin City, specifically around Sapele Road, GRA, or immediate environs.

  • Availability: Must be flexible to work a shift-based schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Core Competencies

  • Tech Literacy: High proficiency in Google Docs/Spreadsheets and experience using CRM software.

  • Communication IQ: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional and courteous tone.

  • Resilience: Proven capacity to work under pressure and handle difficult customers with grace.
