Job Description:

We are seeking a creative, high-energy NYSC Member to join our Marketing team as a Content Creator. In an era of "infinite scroll," the ability to capture attention in the first three seconds is a superpower. This role is designed for a "Multimedia Storyteller", someone who can take a brand's message and translate it into viral reels, engaging graphics, and compelling copy.

Your mission is to be the creative voice of the brand on the ground in Ibadan. You will be responsible for the entire content lifecycle: from brainstorming and storyboarding to filming, editing, and community engagement. If you are a social media native with an eye for aesthetics and a passion for digital trends, we want you to spend your service year with us.

Requirements:

1. Visual & Video Production

• Short-Form Video: Script, film, and edit high-quality TikToks and Instagram Reels that align with current trends while maintaining brand integrity.

• Graphic Design: Create visually appealing static posts, carousels, and stories using tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or Figma.

• Photography: Capture high-resolution images of products, office culture, or events for use across digital platforms.

2. Copywriting & Strategy

• Captions & Scripts: Write witty, engaging, and SEO-friendly captions that drive comments and shares.

• Trend Analysis: Actively monitor social media trends and "meme culture" to pivot content strategy in real-time.

• Content Calendar: Assist in planning and maintaining a consistent posting schedule to ensure maximum audience reach.

3. Community Management & Growth

• Engagement: Respond to comments and DMs in the brand’s unique voice to build a loyal community.

• Analytics Tracking: Monitor post performance (likes, shares, reach) and provide basic reports on what content resonates most with the audience.

• Collaboration: Work with internal teams to highlight product launches or company milestones through creative storytelling.

Qualifications and Skills:

Candidate Profile

• NYSC Status: Must be a currently serving NYSC member in Ibadan, Oyo State.

• Education: Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Theatre Arts, Visual Arts, or a related field (though a strong portfolio outweighs a specific degree).

• Creative Portfolio: A demonstrated ability to create content (personal social media accounts, YouTube channel, or a link to a portfolio/folder of work).

Core Competencies

• Technical Tools: Proficiency in mobile editing apps (CapCut, InShot) and basic design software (Canva).

• Storytelling: Strong ability to hook an audience and tell a story within a 15-60 second window.

• Communication: Excellent written English with a flair for creative and conversational writing.
