We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to lead our financial operations. In this critical role, you will be the steward of the hospital’s fiscal integrity, ensuring that our financial systems are as robust and reliable as our clinical ones.

Beyond traditional bookkeeping, you will serve as a Strategic Financial Advisor, providing the insights necessary to drive operational efficiency and long-term growth. You will manage the full financial lifecycle—from treasury and tax to departmental cost-control—while maintaining a "zero-leakage" environment through rigorous internal controls. Requirements:

1. Financial Reporting & Strategic Analysis

• Comprehensive Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that reflect the true health of the hospital.

• Variance Analysis: Track departmental performance against budgets, providing "Early Warning" reports on spending trends.

• Executive Briefings: Translate complex financial data into strategic recommendations for senior management.

2. Treasury, Payroll & Cash Flow Governance

• Liquidity Management: Monitor cash flow projections to ensure the hospital meets its obligations to vendors and stakeholders without interruption.

• Payroll Administration: Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a diverse workforce of medical and non-medical staff.

• Internal Controls: Develop and implement robust systems to prevent financial mismanagement or leakage in high-volume areas like the Pharmacy and Laundry.

3. Audit, Tax & Statutory Compliance

• Audit Leadership: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation is transparent and compliant with international standards.

• Tax Strategy: Manage corporate tax filings, VAT, and withholding tax (WHT) computations, ensuring the hospital remains in 100% compliance with local tax laws.

• Regulatory Liaison: Stay abreast of changing statutory regulations and ensure the organization’s policies adapt accordingly.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Certification: Must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a healthcare or fast-paced corporate setting.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and modern accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or specialized Hospital Management Systems).

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a finance team and influence cross-functional department heads.

• Ethics: Impeccable integrity and a commitment to professional confidentiality.
