Job Description:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Capital Market Analyst to drive our investment strategy and capital raising initiatives. In this role, you will be the engine of our market intelligence, responsible for distilling complex economic data and market trends into actionable insights. Whether you are building sophisticated financial models for valuations, conducting due diligence on capital market transactions, or crafting investment memoranda, your work will directly inform our leadership’s strategic decisions. If you are an expert in financial modeling with a deep grasp of Nigeria's regulatory capital market environment, this role offers a high-impact platform to influence our portfolio and deal-flow success.

Requirements:

• Market Research & Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive analysis on equity, debt, and alternative investment markets. Monitor macroeconomic indicators and sector-specific developments to provide timely, data-backed market intelligence.

• Financial Modelling & Valuation: Lead the development of robust financial models using DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transaction methodologies. Evaluate the viability of IPOs, bond issuances, and other capital-raising vehicles.

• Advisory & Portfolio Support: Assist in formulating investment strategies and conducting risk assessments. Monitor portfolio performance, perform scenario analyses, and provide periodic reports to support decision-making.

• Transaction Execution: Support the full lifecycle of capital market deals, including due diligence, documentation, and regulatory filings.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Prepare high-level investment memoranda and presentations for management and clients. Collaborate across internal teams and with external market operators to ensure seamless transaction execution.

• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a rigorous understanding of the Nigerian regulatory landscape (SEC, NGX, etc.), ensuring all research and transactions adhere to current policies and guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a strong plus.

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience in capital markets, investment banking, asset management, or financial advisory.

• Professional Certification: CFA, ACA, CIS, or ACCA qualifications are highly desirable.
