Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Brand Marketing Manager to be the visionary behind our local brand strategy. In the Nigerian market, "Brand" is built at the intersection of culture, community, and digital influence. This role is not just about managing assets; it is about architecting the narrative that makes our brand a household name.
You will lead our Influencer Marketing engine, turning local creators into brand evangelists. From TikTok and Instagram to the streets of Lagos and Abuja, you will ensure our message resonates deeply with the Nigerian consumer. If you have 3–5 years of experience, a data-driven mindset, and a "black book" of top-tier local influencers, we want you to lead our Marketing Department.
Requirements:
1. Brand Architecture & Influencer Ecosystem
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement annual/quarterly brand marketing plans that align with company growth targets and local market nuances.
Influencer End-to-End: Lead the selection, vetting, and negotiation for local influencers and Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs). You will manage these relationships to ensure brand consistency and high-impact storytelling.
Cultural Alignment: Conduct deep-dive market research to stay ahead of Nigerian consumer behavior, competitor tactics, and viral social trends.
2. Localized Content & Platform Mastery
Creative Direction: Oversee the production of localized, "high-vibe" content—videos, graphics, and copy—specifically tailored for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
Content Calendar Governance: Manage cross-platform schedules ensuring all branded content is legally compliant (e.g., #ad disclosures) and culturally relevant.
Conversion Synergy: Partner with Sales and E-commerce teams to ensure brand awareness translates directly into platform traffic and sales conversions.
3. Performance Analytics & Fiscal Discipline
ROI Tracking: Move beyond "vanity metrics." Analyze campaign performance using data to measure Impressions, Engagement, and true Conversion ROI.
Budget Stewardship: Efficiently manage the marketing budget, ensuring every Naira is allocated for maximum reach and return.
Iterative Optimization: Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports to pivot strategies based on what the data tells us about the Nigerian audience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in Brand/Digital Marketing, with at least 2 years dedicated to Influencer Marketing within the Nigerian market.
Technical Stack: Proficiency with social media analytics tools, content creation suites, and CRM/data software.
Language: Fluency in English. Bonus: Ability to communicate or write in Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa to better connect with diverse demographics.
Core Competencies
Cultural Intelligence: A deep, intuitive understanding of Nigerian social dynamics and "The Nuance."
Negotiation IQ: Ability to manage high-level contracts with influencers and talent agencies.
Project Management: Capability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder campaigns in a high-pressure environment.
Creator Network: An existing network of Nigerian influencer contacts is highly desirable.
