Job Description:

• The aircraft maintenance engineer is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft to ensure all operations meet aviation safety and performance standards.
• This role provides hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and certifying aircraft systems under the guidance of licensed engineers and maintenance supervisors.

Key Deliverables

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on aircraft and components under supervision
• Carry out inspections in compliance with regulatory and manufacturer requirements such as C-checks and A-checks
• Record maintenance actions accurately in engineering logs and maintenance tracking systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
• Ensure tools, equipment, and workspace comply with safety and calibration standards
• Follow all company, regulatory, and manufacturer maintenance procedures
• Maintain awareness of human factors, safety protocols, and environmental regulations
• Participate in ongoing training and development to gain licensure or type ratings

Requirements:

• Knowledge of aviation maintenance documentation such as AMM and IPC
• Familiarity with aviation regulations such as NCAA
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and basic computing systems
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in aircraft maintenance engineering, aeronautical engineering, or a related field
• Basic understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and safety procedures
• Eligibility for or possession of an aircraft maintenance license or equivalent certification (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to technical standards
• Good teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
