Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the company’s financial operations, statutory compliance, payroll management, financial reporting, and strategic financial planning across multiple locations.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, and providing management with timely financial insights to support business growth.
Work Schedule: Monday – Saturday

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations and transaction processing across all business locations.
- Prepare financial reports, management accounts, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, invoices, petty cash, and financial records.
- Oversee payroll processing, PAYE, pension remittance, NHF, HMO reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliation reports.
- Manage accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders.
- Support annual audit processes and statutory reporting.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the Accounts & Administration Officer.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is required.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, payroll administration, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Experience in retail, consumer goods, or multi-branch operations is an added advantage.
