We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We're seeking an experienced Accountant with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, ICAN, or equivalent), and 3-5 years of experience to manage financial records, prepare financial statements, analyze financial data, and provide insights to support business decisions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including tracking income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company's budget, providing variance analysis and recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations by preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time.
  • Auditing: Coordinate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and revenue growth.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Also, an added advantage of any professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, ICAN (Chartered Accountant), or equivalent). Must have proven experience in accounting (minimum 5 years)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Salary

N300,000 - N350,000 / Month.
