Job Description:

  • We are seeking a high-class Talent Acquisition, Senior Associate to join our global team, to manage increased recruitment activity. The successful candidate will manage recruitment process’s locally in Nigeria and internationally providing a high class service to senior level stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle hiring across roles including operations, chartering, technical, finance, and corporate functions
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing strategies, and timelines
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers across multiple regions (West Africa, UK, Singapore)
  • Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, industry networks, and specialist maritime channels
  • Build pipelines for niche roles (e.g., marine engineers, superintendents, charterers)
  • Conduct structured interviews
  • Ensure candidates meet both technical requirements and cultural fit
  • Manage ATS updates, reporting, and recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and international hiring regulations

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years’ experience at an international corporate and/or executive search firm or recruitment agency. Either shipping expertise, or high class experience from commodities, oil and gas, finance, aviation, or similar:

  • 8+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within shipping, maritime, logistics, or energy
  • Proven track record hiring for technical and/or commercial roles
  • Understanding of shipping industry functions (operations, chartering, technical management, etc.)
  • Familiarity with global hiring markets and talent pools in maritime hubs
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Proactive sourcing and headhunting capability
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using ATS systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
