Job Description:
The Civil Society-Scaling Up Nutrition in Nigeria (CS-SUNN), through the SUN Civil Society Youth Network Nigeria (SUN-CSYNN), is seeking dynamic and passionate State Youth Leaders to drive nutrition advocacy across Lagos, Kano, Ebonyi, and the FCT. This is a premier leadership opportunity for young advocates ready to mobilize their peers, engage with high-level stakeholders, and influence policy decisions to improve nutritional outcomes. If you have the drive to lead community-based initiatives and a commitment to public health, this role will place you at the forefront of nutrition advocacy in your state.
Requirements:
Strategic Leadership: Provide oversight and coordination for Youth Advocates within your state.
Advocacy & Engagement: Lead the planning and execution of state-level nutrition campaigns, community dialogues, and stakeholder meetings.
Relationship Building: Act as a key liaison between the SUN-CS Youth Network Nigeria and government institutions, CSOs, development partners, and local community leaders.
Mentorship & Supervision: Support the onboarding, training, and mentoring of incoming Youth Advocates to ensure high-quality participation.
Reporting & Accountability: Manage the timely documentation, monitoring, and reporting of all state-level activities and project milestones.
Representation: Serve as the official voice of the SUN-CS Youth Network Nigeria in approved state-level forums and policy engagements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Age: You must be between 18 and 30 years old.
Residency: You must currently reside in the state/location you are applying for (Lagos, Kano, Ebonyi, or FCT).
Leadership Experience: Demonstrated background in managing teams, volunteer groups, or community-based projects in advocacy, public health, nutrition, or related sectors.
