Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Principal Software Engineer to anchor the development engine of our client’s flagship suite. In the specialized intersection of desktop performance and cloud collaboration, success is defined by "Systems Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-performance C++ core logic with the clinical precision required for TypeScript Web Environments, Signals Online Integration, and Cross-Platform Desktop Engineering. This role is designed for a "Full-Stack Architect" with 5+ years of experience who can blend "Low-Level Grit" (C/C++ memory management and IDE mastery) with the "Web Agility" required to extend desktop functionality into modern HTML/JS/CSS ecosystems.

Requirements:

1. Engineering Orchestration & Mentoring Governance

• Development Sovereignty: Take a development lead in desktop suites and online collaboration tools, acting as the primary "Source of Technical Mentorship."

• Migration Architecture: Extend complex desktop functionality into the Signals online environment, providing the "Structural Foundation" for cloud-based drawing and sharing.

• Stack Stewardship: Utilize technical mastery across C++, C#, Python, and TypeScript, ensuring the "Source of Code Integrity" remains elite across the entire development lifecycle.

2. Multi-Platform Resilience & Framework Logic

• OS Sovereignty: Deliver high-fidelity software on Windows and Mac (with Linux familiarity), acting as the primary "Source of Cross-Platform Reliability."

• Framework Architecture: Navigate a variety of higher-level languages (Node.js, WinForms, SwiftUI, Qt), providing the "Analytical Foundation" for UI/UX excellence.

• Process Stewardship: Champion Agile principles, Scrum, and Kanban, maintaining the "Source of Operational Velocity" through rigorous testing and delivery approaches.

3. Domain Integrity & Innovation Power

• Scientific Sovereignty: Apply familiarity with Cheminformatics and Bioinformatics to solve domain-specific problems, acting as the primary "Source of Industry-Specific Innovation."

• UI/UX Architecture: Collaborate with design teams to ensure a seamless user experience, providing the "Visual Foundation" for complex scientific tools.

• Mastery Logic: Leverage 5+ years of C++ IDE expertise (VS Code, Visual Studio, XCode) to optimize the "Source of Development Efficiency."

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Profile

• Experience: 5+ years as a Software Development Engineer with expertise in C/C++/C#/Python.

• Web Mastery: 4+ years of expertise in HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern CSS methods.

• Leadership: 1+ year of experience as a Technical or Mentoring Lead.

• Education: BS Degree in Computing, Algorithms, or a related scientific field is preferred.
