We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- As our Service & Repair Engineer, You will be responsible for the maintenance of customers’ solar/energy systems.
- You will handle operations and maintenance activities in your cluster ensuring energy availability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Expert Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support for our solar hybrid inverters and associated battery energy storage systems (BESS) to customers and field technicians, both remotely and in-house.
- Advanced Repair: Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, repair, and testing of faulty inverters and circuit boards at our service center.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed failure analysis on returned products to identify systemic issues and provide valuable feedback to our R&D and product development teams.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all service activities, test results, and repairs in our system, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
- Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on all Arnergy solar hybrid inverters, batteries, and charging systems, staying up-to-date with both new and legacy products.
- Technical Training: Assist in developing and delivering technical training sessions to upskill our field technicians and service center staff.
- Quality Control: Ensure all repaired units pass rigorous quality assurance checks before being deployed back into service.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of safety by ensuring all work complies with electrical codes and manufacturer protocols
Requirements:
You'll be a good fit for this role if you have :
- Minimum of a B.Eng/B.Sc in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years’ hands-on experience in the service, repair, and maintenance of inverters, power electronics, or UPS systems, with specific expertise in solar hybrid systems.
Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of power electronics, AC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion topologies.
- Proficient in component-level repair and soldering on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Skilled in using electrical test equipment, including oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
- Familiarity with remote monitoring systems and IoT-enabled energy management is a strong plus
