Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Technician to join our maintenance team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the operational reliability of our advanced electronic, control, and data acquisition systems. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in industrial electronics, specifically within high-pressure oilfield service environments.
Requirements:
Systems Maintenance: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain complex electronic and data acquisition systems to ensure peak performance.
Equipment Servicing: Lead the service and repair of electronic components for nitrogen pumps, coiled tubing equipment, and high-pressure fracturing (frac) pumps.
Instrumentation: Expert calibration and maintenance of densitometers, flowmeters, and related field instrumentation.
Power Systems: Diagnose and conduct repairs on internal combustion engine control systems.
Networking & IT Support: Manage and support local area network (LAN) infrastructure on-site.
Documentation: Maintain rigorous maintenance logs and project documentation using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Diploma or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Experience: Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial electronics, instrumentation, and oilfield equipment maintenance.
Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in data acquisition technologies and LAN systems.
Certifications: Valid technical training certification in industrial electronics or relevant oilfield safety/technical standards.
Soft Skills: Proven ability to perform under pressure with strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic capabilities.
