Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a leader in our security operations, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure, resilient cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. If you are an expert in DevSecOps, threat mitigation, and data-sensitive infrastructure—particularly with experience securing HRIS platforms we invite you to help us maintain the highest standards of integrity and compliance in the cloud.

Requirements:

• Cloud Architecture & Security: Design and implement robust, secure cloud architectures. Develop and enforce comprehensive cloud security standards, policies, and best practices.

• Threat Management: Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations. Lead security risk assessments, threat modeling, and remediation activities to protect our infrastructure.

• DevSecOps Integration: Seamlessly integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines to ensure a "security-by-design" approach to development.

• Identity & Network Security: Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, key management, and network security across all cloud deployments.

• Compliance & Audit: Conduct regular security audits, incident response, and forensic investigations. Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure alignment with international frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.

• Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership to the security department and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years specifically in cloud security.

• Domain Expertise:

  • Prior experience working with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) or similar data-sensitive platforms is required.

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP security services.

  • Proficiency in IAM, network security, SIEM, CASB, and cloud-native security tools.
