Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Senior Accountant to anchor the financial engine of AmSpec. In a specialized global landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the close and the precision of the tax filing success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize daily accounting operations with the clinical precision required for Multi-Standard Reporting (Local/International), Statutory Compliance, and Internal Controls. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect", specifically a professional with 5 to 8 years of experience who can blend "Regulatory Grit" (ensuring compliance with VAT, PAYE, and Corporate Tax) with the "Supervisory Agility" required to lead accounts payable/receivable and general ledger workflows.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Closing Governance
Sovereignty of the Ledger: Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of transactions with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Fiscal Integrity."
Closing Architecture: Oversee and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, providing the "Structural Foundation" for timely regional reporting.
Integrity Stewardship: Implement and maintain internal controls in alignment with AmSpec's global standards, ensuring the "Source of Institutional Trust" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Statutory Logic
Tax Sovereignty: Ensure 100% compliance with local tax regulations (VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax), acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory De-risking."
Reporting Architecture: Prepare high-fidelity financial statements and management reports for internal/external stakeholders, providing the "Functional Foundation" for global visibility.
Audit Stewardship: Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies, maintaining the "Source of Statutory Transparency."
3. Operational Integrity & Resource Power
Transactional Sovereignty: Oversee AP/AR and bank reconciliations, acting as the primary "Source of Working Capital Clarity."
Forecasting Architecture: Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing the "Relational Foundation" for data-driven financial decision-making.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 5–8 years of progressive experience (including supervisory roles) to accelerate the "Data-to-Insight" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Financial Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certification: Full or part qualification in ICA, CIMA, or ACCA (Mandatory).
Experience: 5 – 8 years of progressive experience, including 1 – 2 years in a supervisory role.
Technical Power: Elite proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP systems.
Environment: Experience in a multinational or global reporting environment is highly preferred.
