Job Description:
We are seeking high-performing, result-driven Sales Executives to anchor our commercial expansion in Ojodu Berger. In the competitive construction and finishing landscape, success is defined by "Specification Influence", the ability to get our products into the hands of key decision-makers during the project planning phase. This role is designed for a "Commercial Hunter" with 2–3 years of experience who can blend "Technical Product Knowledge" with the "Relationship Grit" required to close deals with architects, developers, and project managers.
Your mission is to ensure "Market Dominance and High-Volume Project Conversion." You will be the primary engine of our business development: responsible for identifying new sites, delivering high-stakes presentations, and securing lucrative contracts. If you possess "Negotiation Mastery," a strong network in the construction sector, and specialized experience in Tiles or Building Materials, we want you to drive our growth.
Requirements:
1. Business Development & Market Penetration
Project Scouting: Proactively identify and engage new business opportunities within the Lagos/Ogun construction corridor (Isheri, Berger, Magodo).
Strategic Networking: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and procurement officers to ensure our products are specified in project bills.
Lead Intelligence: Own the sales cycle from lead generation and field visits to the final delivery of construction-related products and services.
2. Technical Sales & Negotiation
Presentation Mastery: Prepare and deliver professional sales proposals and technical presentations that articulate the value and ROI of our building materials.
Deal Architecture: Negotiate high-value contracts and terms, ensuring profitability while maintaining competitive positioning in the retail and project markets.
Conversion Velocity: Drive the sales process forward to consistently meet and exceed aggressive monthly revenue targets.
3. Reporting & Relationship Management
Pipeline Governance: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, prospect lists, and project statuses to provide management with clear growth forecasts.
Client Stewardship: Act as a dedicated account manager for ongoing projects, ensuring guest/client satisfaction and securing repeat business through excellent service.
Market Benchmarking: Monitor competitor activity and pricing in the tiles and building materials space to suggest strategic adjustments.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of HND or BSc in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Experience: 2–3 years of proven sales experience specifically within the Construction or Building Materials industry.
Added Advantage: Specialized experience in the Sales of Tiles and high-end finishing materials.
Proximity: Must reside within or close to Ojodu Berger, Lagos, for operational efficiency.
