We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • To leverage deep expertise in subsurface evaluation to enhance reservoir understanding, optimize hydrocarbon recovery, and unlock greater value from the assets through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Reservoir fluid characterization and field studies.
  • Material balance and reservoir simulation.
  • Performance forecasting and depletion planning.
  • Reservoir surveillance and production optimization.
  • Opportunity generation and evaluation.
  • Subsurface characterization and depletion planning.
  • Workover and drillwell evaluations.
  • Volume forecasting, economic analysis, and reserves assessment.
  • Conduct subsurface and commercial studies to advance development opportunities.
  • Maintain and update dynamic reservoir models; identify long-term constraints.
  • Define reservoir design bases for projects.
  • Develop and revise Field Development Plans (FDPs)

Requirements:

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of Second-Class Upper Division (2.1) in Chemical, Petroleum engineering or related disciplines.
  • 8+ years in reservoir engineering focused roles.
  • Proven expertise in artificial lift systems, well testing, data analytics, and field development planning.
  • Strong understanding of reservoir simulation, material balance, and performance forecasting.
  • Proficient in using industry-standard software (e.g., Petrel, Eclipse, OFM, Prosper, GAP).
  • Experience with reserves estimation and economic evaluation. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and HSE standards in oil and gas operations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and adapt to dynamic field conditions. 
  • NYSC discharge or exemption certificate

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive reservoir engineering knowledge and the ability to demonstrate strong competencies in reservoir characterization and simulation,
  • Field development planning, reservoir management, production optimizations, well testing and pressure analysis for fields in various stages of development.
