Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite Reporter to anchor our editorial engine across the critical hubs of Nasarawa, Zamfara, and Bauchi. In the complex and rapidly evolving information landscape of Northern Nigeria, success is defined by "Narrative Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize fragmented field data with the clinical precision required for Investigative Journalism, Human-Interest Storytelling, and Real-Time Breaking News. This role is designed for an "Information Architect" with relevant academic credentials who can blend "Editorial Grit" (navigating challenging terrains) with the "Analytical Agility" required to provide context to regional security, agriculture, and governance.
Requirements:
1. News Orchestration & Field Governance
Coverage Sovereignty: Identify, research, and write high-fidelity news stories from assigned locations, acting as the primary "Source of Regional Intelligence."
Inquiry Architecture: Conduct deep-dive interviews with stakeholders, community leaders, and officials, providing the "Structural Foundation" for balanced and objective reporting.
Ethics Stewardship: Adhere to the highest standards of journalistic ethics and accuracy, ensuring the "Source of Public Trust" remains uncompromised.
2. Investigative Resilience & Contextual Logic
Investigative Sovereignty: Uncover underreported issues related to security, economy, and social justice in Nasarawa, Zamfara, or Bauchi, acting as the primary "Source of Accountability."
Multimedia Architecture: Capture high-quality photos and video footage to accompany digital and print reports, providing the "Visual Foundation" for modern storytelling.
Trend Stewardship: Monitor local developments and emerging regional trends, maintaining the "Source of Strategic Foresight" for the editorial board.
3. Delivery Integrity & Network Power
Deadline Sovereignty: File stories with millimetric focus on speed and accuracy, optimizing the "Source of Real-Time News Delivery."
Network Architecture: Build and maintain an elite network of high-fidelity sources across various sectors, ensuring the "Source of Information Access" is robust.

Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Possession of relevant qualifications (Degree or HND in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related Liberal Arts).
Experience: Relevant work experience in a newsroom, digital media house, or as a field correspondent.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in digital filing tools, basic photography/videography, and social media for news dissemination.
Core Competencies
