Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and seasoned Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 6 years of professional experience to join our team. In this high-impact role, you will be the financial guardian of our construction projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of costs, from initial feasibility and estimation to final account settlement, ensuring that every project is delivered with maximum cost-efficiency and financial integrity.

Requirements:

• Cost Estimation & Planning: Prepare detailed cost estimates for all project phases, meticulously analyzing labor, material, and equipment requirements.

• Tendering & Procurement: Develop and submit competitive tender documents and manage the negotiation process with suppliers and subcontractors to drive cost-effectiveness.

• Financial Monitoring: Track project progress against the original budget. You will proactively identify variances, report them to stakeholders, and manage all project scope variations.

• Contract Administration: Manage subcontract agreements, verify invoices, and ensure timely payment cycles with clients and partners.

• Strategic Advisory: Provide expert cost advice during project meetings, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure design decisions align with budgetary constraints.

• Reporting & Compliance: Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions and prepare final cost reports analyzing project performance against the initial estimate.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: HND or B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying (or a related field).

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Quantity Surveying.

• Professional Qualification: Active membership in a recognized professional Quantity Surveying institute is mandatory.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level understanding of construction costs, pricing principles, and building regulations. Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., S100, BCIS).
