Job Description:
- The Project Manager / Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of all Company’s Real Estate development projects.
- The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and at the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
- Working under the direct supervision of the CEO, the Project Manager coordinates and supervises multiple departments involved in project delivery, while also liaising with external construction contractors, consultants, and vendors to safeguard the organization’s best interests.
- This role is critical in balancing technical site oversight with strategic project management, ensuring that company delivers on its brand promise of innovation, quality, and timeliness.
Role Summary
- The Project Manager / Site Engineer is the central lead in delivering the company’s Real Estate’s projects.
- Reporting to the CEO, the role ensures timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution while supervising departments and liaising with external construction teams.
- By balancing technical oversight with strategic project management, the Project Manager safeguards the company’s interests, strengthens investor confidence, and reinforces the organization’s reputation for excellence in real estate development.
Core Deliverables
Project Delivery:
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure construction activities align with engineering and architectural designs.
- Deliver all projects in compliance with the company’s standards and regulatory requirements.
Departmental Supervision:
- Provide leadership across departments contributing to project execution.
- Coordinate site operations to ensure smooth collaboration and productivity.
- Conduct regular reviews to track progress, performance, and challenges.
External Contractor Liaison:
- Act as the link between the company and external contractors/consultants.
- Ensure contractor compliance with contracts, safety, and quality standards.
- Mediate fairly between the company and external teams, always protecting organizational interests.
Quality & Cost Control:
- Implement strict quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) systems.
- Monitor budgets and costs to minimize variance and safeguard ROI.
- Ensure optimal use of materials, equipment, and labor to reduce waste.
HSE Compliance:
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental protocols across sites.
- Lead safety talks, compliance audits, and corrective action initiatives.
- Maintain zero-tolerance for unsafe practices or regulatory violations.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Report directly to the CEO on project status, risks, and financial performance.
- Provide timely updates to support investor confidence.
- Collaborate with Land Acquisition and Business Development to ensure smooth transitions from planning to delivery.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation (budgets, permits, site logs, performance dashboards).
- Submit structured weekly and monthly reports to the CEO.
- Ensure timely acquisition and renewal of statutory permits and approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of real estate development projects.
- Supervise multiple departments engaged in construction, procurement, and operations.
- Liaise with external contractors and consultants to ensure quality, timelines, and cost discipline.
- Conduct site inspections, resolve technical challenges, and escalate major risks to the CEO.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards and building codes.
- Monitor resource use to minimize waste and optimize project ROI.
- Represent the company in technical discussions with contractors, regulators, and investors.
- Resolve conflicts fairly, escalating unresolved disputes to the CEO.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ proven experience managing large-scale real estate or construction projects.
- Professional certifications (PMP, COREN, PMI) are an added advantage.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, structural engineering, and architectural integration.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
- Strong budgeting, cost control, and reporting expertise.
Soft Skills:
- Leadership and team coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
