Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Project Manager to anchor the strategic engine of our Banking PMO in Lagos. In the specialized landscape of financial services where project success is dictated by the intersection of innovation and rigorous regulation success is defined by "Strategic Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize organizational goals with the clinical precision required for Project Governance, Financial Oversight, and Risk Mitigation. This role is designed for a "System Architect" with 5+ years of experience who can blend "Methodological Grit" (mastering Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks) with the "Executive Agility" required to navigate high-pressure "go-live" phases and complex system deployments.

Requirements:

1. Governance Orchestration & Compliance Architecture

• Framework Sovereignty: Execute projects using the bank's defined methodology (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Execution Integrity."

• Documentation Architecture: Ensure all project artifacts meet rigorous audit and compliance standards, providing the "Structural Foundation" for regulatory safety.

• Integrity Stewardship: Protect the bank's assets by identifying security vulnerabilities and regulatory shifts, ensuring the "Source of Risk Mitigation" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Stakeholder Logic

• Stakeholder Sovereignty: Serve as the primary point of contact for IT leads and risk officers, acting as the primary "Source of Expectation Management."

• Resource Architecture: Collaborate with functional managers to secure team members and manage dependencies, providing the "Functional Foundation" for cross-departmental synergy.

• Communication Stewardship: Present progress and strategic insights to executive steering committees, maintaining the "Source of Institutional Transparency."

3. Financial Integrity & Analytical Power

• Budget Sovereignty: Monitor project budgets and track actual spending against forecasts, acting as the primary "Source of Fiscal Accountability."

• Vendor Architecture: Manage procurement processes and vendor contracts, providing the "Relational Foundation" for external partnership success.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of PMO expertise and Clarity PPM/Jira tools to interpret complex data and drive operational excellence, maximizing the "Source of Project Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, ideally within a Retail or Investment Banking PMO.

• Certification: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile (CSM/SAFe) certifications are highly preferred.

• Technical Mastery: Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, or Clarity PPM, with a deep understanding of core banking systems.
