Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic Profit Centre Manager to spearhead business growth within our Lagos operations. This role is designed for high-performing banking professionals who excel in deposit mobilization, high-level relationship management, and driving sustainable profitability.
As a Profit Centre Manager, you will be the primary driver of revenue growth, overseeing the marketing of the Bank’s diverse products and services while ensuring a premium customer experience for both new and existing clients.
Requirements:
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Deposit Mobilization: Lead aggressive strategies to attract and retain significant deposits from diverse sectors.
Customer Acquisition: Identify and onboard new high-value customers to expand the Bank’s market share in Lagos.
Profitability Management: Oversee the "Profit Centre" to ensure that all business activities translate into maximum revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Relationship Management
Client Retention: Maintain and deepen positive business relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term loyalty and cross-selling opportunities.
Market Positioning: Oversee the marketing and promotion of the Bank’s products and services, ensuring they are positioned effectively against competitors.
Executive Reporting: Provide detailed performance insights and growth projections to senior executive leadership.
Technical Analysis & Compliance
Financial Analysis: Conduct rigorous credit and financial analysis to support business decisions and mitigate risks.
Professionalism: Uphold the highest ethical standards in all transactions, ensuring full compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience & Grade Level We are open to candidates across several professional grades, provided they have proven experience in a Commercial Bank:
ET Grade: 1–2 years of experience.
ABO Grade: 3–4 years of experience.
BO Grade: 5–6 years of experience.
SBO Grade: 6–7 years of experience.
Core Competencies
Lead Generation: A proven ability to generate high-quality leads and successfully convert them into active business.
Networking: Strong interpersonal skills with an extensive network for relationship management.
Technical Proficiency: Solid grounding in credit analysis and financial modeling.
