Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Production Planner to anchor the operational engine of our manufacturing facility in Aba, Abia State. In a specialized industrial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the resource-relay and the precision of the scheduling-filter success is defined by "Systemic Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize raw material availability with the clinical precision required for Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Capacity Planning, and Lead-Time Optimization. This role is designed for a "Logistical Architect" who can blend "Analytical Grit" (managing complex inventory levels) with the "Strategic Agility" required to execute Production Forecasts and Shop-Floor Synchronization.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Scheduling Governance

• Sovereignty of the Schedule: Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure 100% target achievement, acting as the primary "Source of Factory Direction."

• Resource Architecture: Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure material availability, providing the "Structural Foundation" for uninterrupted production.

• Integrity Stewardship: Monitor and adjust production plans based on real-time constraints, ensuring the "Source of Operational Commitments" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Capacity Logic

• Capacity Sovereignty: Conduct rigorous capacity requirements planning (CRP) to optimize machine and labor utilization, acting as the primary "Source of Production Efficiency."

• Inventory Architecture: Manage Safety Stock levels and Reorder Points (ROP), providing the "Functional Foundation" for de-risking supply chain disruptions.

• Bottleneck Stewardship: Identify and mitigate production delays through proactive rescheduling, maintaining the "Source of Manufacturing Flow."

3. Operational Integrity & Performance Power

• Analytical Sovereignty: Utilize historical data and demand forecasts to optimize production batches, acting as the primary "Source of Predictive Insight."

• Data Architecture: Maintain the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOM) and routing data within the system, providing the "Relational Foundation" for cost and time precision.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize MRP and Engineering expertise to accelerate the "Order-to-Finished-Good" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Organizational Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Relevant degree in Engineering, Production Management, or Supply Chain.

• Experience: Proven experience in a similar planning role within a structured manufacturing environment.

• Technical Power: High proficiency in ERP/MRP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel.

• Numerical IQ: Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a high attention to detail.

• Aptitude: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage complex variables simultaneously.
