Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and highly organized Procurement / Store Officer to manage our inventory and supply chain requirements in Port Harcourt. You will be the primary contact for our vendors and the custodian of our stock, ensuring that our operational needs are met through timely procurement and precise inventory control. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a commitment to maintaining accurate records, and a proactive approach to vendor management, we want you to ensure our materials and supplies are always accounted for and available when needed.

Requirements:

• Vendor Management: Build and maintain productive relationships with reliable suppliers. Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to ensure we receive the best value for our procurement spend.

• Inventory Control: Oversee the end-to-end management of the store. Ensure accurate recording of all goods received and issued, maintain optimal stock levels, and conduct regular physical stock counts to prevent discrepancies.

• Procurement Execution: Efficiently process purchase requests, track orders from placement to delivery, and verify that all incoming materials meet company quality and quantity specifications.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain up-to-date manual and digital records of all store transactions. Prepare regular inventory reports to assist management in forecasting and budgeting.

• Logistics & Organization: Organize the storage facility for maximum efficiency, ensuring items are properly categorized, labeled, and protected from damage or loss.

• Compliance: Adhere to company procurement policies and safety standards, ensuring that all store operations are transparent and auditable.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Interested candidates should possess an OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
