Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and process-driven Procurement / Materials Coordinator to manage our end-to-end supply chain requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time to support our ongoing operations, while maintaining a lean and cost-effective inventory. If you are an experienced professional with a keen eye for logistics, vendor management, and data-backed procurement, this is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role in our operational success in Lagos.

Requirements:

  • Materials Planning: Coordinate the planning, procurement, and scheduling of materials to ensure seamless availability for production or project site requirements.

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with reliable suppliers. Negotiate terms, pricing, and lead times to ensure the company receives maximum value.

  • Inventory Management: Oversee material stock levels, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and reporting. Minimize waste and optimize carrying costs.

  • Logistics & Distribution: Manage the end-to-end movement of materials, from procurement to site delivery. Coordinate with internal teams and external logistics providers to ensure timely fulfillment.

  • Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all incoming materials meet quality standards and organizational specifications. Maintain all documentation related to purchases, receipts, and returns.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Prepare regular reports on procurement spend, inventory turnover, and supplier performance. Provide actionable insights to improve supply chain efficiency.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, finance, and project teams to anticipate needs, align procurement plans with production goals, and resolve any supply chain bottlenecks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in procurement, materials management, or supply chain coordination.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for data analysis).
