Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Process Engineer to join our manufacturing team in Ogun State. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a solid technical background in manufacturing environments. You will work closely with production and quality teams to streamline workflows and maintain high standards of operational excellence.

Requirements:

Process Optimization & Monitoring

• Workflow Design: Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and design improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

• Standardization: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for various production stages.

• Performance Tracking: Monitor production metrics and conduct regular process audits to identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

Technical Analysis & Troubleshooting

• Problem Solving: Utilize analytical tools and critical thinking to resolve technical issues on the production floor.

• Data Analysis: Use Microsoft Office and specialized process analysis tools to interpret production data and generate actionable insights.

• Equipment Oversight: Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all machinery is optimized for process requirements.

Collaboration & Quality Control

• Team Coordination: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies or process changes.

• Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports on process performance and present findings to management.

• Safety Adherence: Ensure all processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or a related field).

• Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of work experience specifically within a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is critical for data analysis).

  • Familiarity with process analysis tools and methodology.
