Kelina does Laparoscopic Surgery in General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology amongst others. HoLEP, LRP, PCNL, RIRS are the most common surgeries we do each week.
Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed and highly skilled Pharmacist to join our team in Victoria Island. In this role, you will be more than a dispenser of medication; you will be a critical healthcare partner, providing clinical expertise, patient counseling, and operational leadership in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.
This position is designed for a professional who balances Clinical Excellence with Digital Proficiency. Located in one of Lagos's most prestigious commercial hubs, you will cater to a discerning clientele, necessitating a high standard of communication, integrity, and pharmaceutical care.
Requirements:
1. Clinical Governance & Medication Safety
Prescription Validation: Review and interpret physician orders to ensure correct dosage, identify potential drug-drug interactions, and prevent adverse reactions.
Patient Counseling: Provide professional advice on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and chronic disease management.
Compounding & Preparation: Oversee the accurate preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals in strict adherence to PCN standards.
2. Inventory Mastery & Supply Chain Integrity
Stock Management: Utilize advanced pharmacy management software to track inventory levels, monitor expiration dates, and manage high-value pharmaceuticals.
Cold Chain Compliance: Ensure the integrity of temperature-sensitive medications (e.g., insulin, vaccines) through rigorous monitoring of storage conditions.
Procurement Support: Collaborate with vendors to maintain an uninterrupted supply of essential medicines while minimizing stock holding costs.
3. Digital Operations & Administrative Compliance
Electronic Health Records (EHR): Maintain meticulous digital patient records and transaction logs, ensuring high levels of data accuracy and confidentiality.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the pharmacy remains in 100% compliance with Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) regulations and statutory reporting.
Computer Literacy: Leverage technology to streamline billing, insurance claims (HMO), and digital patient engagement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
Experience: Proven post-NYSC experience in a clinical or community pharmacy setting.
Licensure: Current and valid registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
Location: Must be a resident of Lagos (proximity to Victoria Island is an advantage).
Core Competencies
Advanced Computer Literacy: High proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills, with a focus on patient empathy and professional poise.
