Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and commercially minded Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations, tenant management, facility coordination, and service delivery within a multi-tenant commercial retail facility.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong operational leadership capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, sound business acumen, and proven experience managing facilities, vendors, tenants, and support teams within a dynamic commercial environment. He must have worked in a commercial facility management role.
- The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the facility while maintaining exceptional service standards for tenants, visitors, contractors, and stakeholders.
- The role requires active oversight of multiple commercial tenants operating across diverse industries and business sectors, ensuring compliance with operational policies, service standards, health and safety requirements, and facility regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the commercial facility.
- Ensure seamless coordination of all facility-related activities.
- Monitor service quality across all operational touchpoints.
- Implement operational improvements that enhance efficiency and tenant satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
Tenant Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with commercial occupants.
- Address tenant concerns, complaints, and service requests promptly.
- Facilitate tenant onboarding, renewals, and operational compliance activities.
- Conduct regular tenant engagement meetings and inspections.
Facility & Maintenance Coordination:
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, cleaning, security, waste management, and other support services.
- Monitor facility infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are adhered to.
- Escalate and resolve operational issues before they impact tenants or visitors.
Vendor & Contractor Management:
- Manage relationships with contractors, service providers, and external vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed service levels.
- Ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Recommend improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all facility regulations and operational policies.
- Maintain safe working conditions across the facility.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness initiatives and incident management procedures.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
Financial & Administrative Oversight:
- Assist with budgeting and operational cost control.
- Monitor operational expenditures.
- Prepare periodic management reports and performance updates.
- Support revenue optimization initiatives within the facility.
Team Leadership:
- Supervise operational support teams and contractors.
- Drive accountability, discipline, and performance excellence.
- Coach and develop team members to achieve operational objectives.
Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Estate Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related discipline.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in:
- Commercial Facility Management
- Property Management
- Retail Mall Operations
- Estate Operations
- Multi-Tenant Commercial Facilities
- Operations Management

Work Schedule:
- Full-Time Onsite
- Mondays to Saturdays
- 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Physical Presence Required)
- Remote Operational Engagement: 6:00 PM – Mall Closing (Approximately 9:00 PM)
- Alternate Sundays Required
