Job Description:
- The Online Reservations Officer is responsible for managing all online and phone booking requests, ensuring accurate reservation records, responding promptly to customer inquiries, and delivering excellent customer service to maximize bookings and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process all online, phone, and walk-in reservation requests
- Monitor and update bookings across reservation platforms and internal systems
- Confirm, modify, or cancel reservations as requested by customers
- Ensure accurate entry of customer details, dates, services, and payment status
- Respond promptly to emails, WhatsApp, social media, and booking platform messages
- Coordinate with front desk, operations, and service teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally
- Maintain daily reservation logs and prepare basic reports for management
- Ensure compliance with company policies and data protection standards
Requirements:
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required
- Strong sense of confidentiality and reliability
- Applicant must reside within Lekki Area
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bsc Mass Communication, English / literature or any SocialScience
- OND / HND / BSc accepted
- Professional certifications in customer service or reservation systems are an added advantage
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in reservations, front desk, or customer service role
- Experience using online booking platforms,
- Hospitality, salon, or travel industry experience preferred
Required Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer literacy and ability to use online booking systems
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Customer service and problem-solving skills
- Professional appearance and personal hygiene required in line with company standards
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Basic knowledge of payment and invoicing processes
- Professional phone and email etiquette.
