Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Offshore Operations Coordinator to provide critical project and vessel support. Working in tandem with the Project Engineer (PE), you will ensure the seamless execution of offshore projects by managing procedural documentation, risk assessments, and logistical workflows. This is a vital role requiring offshore experience, a strong background in QA/operations, and the ability to maintain rigorous safety and communication standards in a dynamic maritime environment.

Requirements:

Project Engineering & Safety Support

• PE Coverage: Provide full project engineering support while the PE is off-shift, including chairing essential safety and project briefings (HAZID, IWOP, SJA, Pre-shift meetings).

• Compliance & Risk: Ensure all COSHH/MSDS documentation is current, issue Site Instructions and Management of Change (MOC) documentation, and assist in maintaining the Project Management System.

• Procedural Review: Review equipment lists, procedures, and drawings prior to mobilization; report any potential conflicts or errors to the Rig Manager.

Logistics & Material Coordination

• Supply Chain Interface: Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of equipment with the Store person, Supply Chain, and Onshore Management Team (OMT).

• Manifest Management: Conduct preliminary checks of delivered goods against manifests, ensure valid certification for all project equipment, and manage the backload process.

• Tracker Maintenance: Maintain the Chemical and Equipment tracker, specifically for long-term vessel items (e.g., Radios and Project Cage Stock).

Reporting & Communication

• Operational Reporting: Prepare and submit the Daily Project Report before 06:00 for Rig Manager review.

• Communication: Act as a key liaison between clients, management, vessel crew, and 3rd-party vendors.

• Handover: Prepare comprehensive, detailed handover documents for reliefs to ensure operational continuity.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in an offshore-related industry or light well intervention operations in a coordination capacity.

• Core Knowledge:

  • Experience coordinating material movements.

  • Technical knowledge of light well intervention operations OR rigging and ROV operations.

  • Familiarity with QA/Operations environments.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages.

• Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be a dedicated team player capable of operating within established safety systems.
