Job Description:

Are you a budding designer looking to turn your creative spark into a professional career? We are seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our creative engine in Lagos. This isn't a "get-the-coffee" internship; this is a hands-on opportunity to see your work live on social media, web platforms, and email campaigns.

As an intern, you will be mentored by seasoned creatives, helping you bridge the gap between "knowing the tools" and "executing a brand strategy." You will help us craft the visuals that define our brand’s digital footprint. Requirements:

1. Digital Asset Creation

• Social First: Design engaging visuals for Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn that stop the scroll.

• Web & Email Support: Assist in creating web banners, landing page elements, and e-newsletter graphics that drive clicks.

• Rapid Prototyping: Take a creative brief and quickly turn it into multiple design concepts for review.

2. Brand Stewardship & Consistency

• Brand Guardrails: Learn to work within established brand guidelines (fonts, colors, logos) to ensure our identity remains cohesive.

• Asset Optimization: Learn the technical side of design—exporting the right file formats (WebP, PNG, SVG) for different platforms to ensure high quality and fast load times.

3. Creative Collaboration & Growth

• Feedback Loop: Participate in brainstorming sessions and design critiques. You will learn how to take constructive feedback and iterate on your designs to reach a "final-final" version.

• Tech Exploration: Stay updated on design trends and experiment with new features in the Adobe Suite, Figma, or Canva to improve our workflow.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field (Fine Arts, Creative Arts, or Design is a plus).

• Location: Must be based in Lagos and available for a Full-Time Internship.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Basic Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with at least one major design tool—Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator), Figma, or Canva.

• Design Fundamentals: A basic understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.

• Portfolio: You must provide a link to a portfolio or samples of your work (school projects, personal work, or previous gigs).

• Mindset: High "coachability," attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
