Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Network Cloud Engineer to join our IT infrastructure team. You will be responsible for the seamless operation, security, and high availability of our computing platforms, servers, and networks. As a key member of the team, you will install, maintain, and upgrade our operating environment while continuously driving performance improvements to ensure the reliability of our mission-critical infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Network Engineering: Design, implement, and provide L2/L3 support for switched, wireless, and remote access network environments.

• WAN & Security Management: Administer the enterprise-wide area network, including Cisco routers, Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), and Unified Threat Management (UTM) systems.

• Cloud Infrastructure (AWS): Manage and optimize AWS services, including EC2 (Linux/Windows), VPC, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation. Implement robust security controls and disaster recovery snapshots.

• Voice Infrastructure: Oversee voice systems, resolve L2 voice-related issues, and provide strategic recommendations for system upgrades.

• Vendor Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for internet and voice service providers. Coordinate service escalations and ensure contract compliance through collaboration with our legal team.

• Integration & Security: Facilitate seamless cloud-to-on-premises integration and maintain enterprise security standards to mitigate infrastructure risks.

• Operational Excellence: Perform periodic health checks, analyze system performance, and collaborate with project teams to advise on infrastructure requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure management and network administration.

• Certifications: Professional-level certifications are highly preferred, including:

  • Cisco: CCNP or CCDP

  • Microsoft: MCSE

  • Cloud: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Expertise in network design (Cisco routers, firewalls, VPNs).

  • Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services and security best practices.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

• Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Prior experience in IT Help Desk support is a strong plus.
