Job Description:

  • Monitor, operate, and maintain mechanical equipment
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrading of mechanical systems.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
  • Participate in plant startup, shutdown, and load variation activities.
  • Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution.
  • Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams for integrated plant performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, reports, and logs.
  • Ensure proper spare parts management and inventory control.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on plant machinery.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems in power plants
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Familiarity with safety standards (e.g., HSE practices).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
