We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Description:
- The role holder is responsible for the overall execution and completion of assigned audit engagements, while building relationships with team members and clients..
Responsibilities
- Carry out and execute audit assignments in line with international standards and the firm’s quality management procedures.
- Lead and train junior staff and build professional capacity both on-the-job and other technical sessions.
- Manage departmental deliverables, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and annual work plans; and collaborate with other departments on duties related to communication and marketing campaigns.
- Supervise audit engagements and perform review work of subordinates and entire audit engagements.
- Deliver reports for higher‑level review within required deadlines.
- Use the audit tools provided by the firm on all engagements.
- Manage online jobs effectively using the various tools available
Requirements:
- A minimum of a Second Class Upper (2:1) Bachelor's degree or Upper Credit in Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related discipline. (Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage)
- Minimum of 7 years of post-qualification audit experience within a structured audit or assurance environment, preferably in a top-tier audit or accounting firm
- Proven ability to handle at least 7 PIE clients.
- Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or its equivalent
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated technical understanding of accounting and auditing standards.
- Experience in various sectors/industries of audit.
- Great communication skills (including oral, written, report writing and presentation).
- Problem identification and solution skills (including core, conceptual, and analytical thinking).
- Up to date with industry and regulatory changes and professional standards.
- Strong commitment and proven record of professional and client service excellence.
- Possesses an analytical, inquisitive mindset with a strong ability to interpret and derive insights from key data.
- Good IT skills, competent user of Microsoft Office and IT applications.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Change management skills.
- Great team player.
