Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Maintenance Engineer to oversee the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment. In this role, you will be the frontline defense against operational downtime, ensuring that all systems perform to the highest standards. The ideal candidate blends deep technical knowledge with a disciplined approach to preventive maintenance and safety, supporting a seamless and productive environment.

Requirements:

• Routine Inspections: Conduct systematic checks of all machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.

• Maintenance Execution: Perform both preventive (scheduled) and corrective (emergency) maintenance activities to ensure continuous operation.

• Diagnostics & Repair: Troubleshoot technical faults and execute timely, high-quality repairs to minimize equipment failure.

• Efficiency & Safety: Ensure all systems operate at peak efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.

• Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate maintenance logs and technical records to track equipment history and performance.

• Operational Coordination: Work closely with the operations team to schedule maintenance windows that minimize impact on production schedules.

• Process Improvement: Analyze equipment performance and recommend technical upgrades or process improvements to enhance overall reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Eng or HND in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline.

• Experience: Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in an industrial or high-volume production setting.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of modern maintenance practices, mechanical systems, and electrical troubleshooting.

• Safety Standards: Solid working knowledge of HSE regulations and the ability to implement them daily.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently under pressure.
