Job Description:

• The Logistics Officer will coordinate the movement, tracking, and delivery of recycling materials—particularly boards/devices—from various states to Lagos, ensuring timely, safe, and cost-effective transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate interstate movement of boards/devices from different locations to Lagos
• Liaise with transporters, dispatch partners, and state coordinators
• Track and monitor shipments in transit to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain accurate records of incoming boards and inventory
• Ensure proper documentation for all logistics transactions
• Plan and manage delivery schedules and routing
• Handle receiving, verification, and reporting of items upon arrival
• Monitor and minimize logistics costs through basic calculations and tracking
• Resolve delays, losses, or transit issues efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety and handling procedures

Requirements:

• OND or SSCE qualification
• 1–2 years experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain operations
• Experience with interstate logistics or transport coordination is highly preferred
• Good knowledge of routing, shipment tracking, and vendor coordination
• Ability to perform basic calculations and record keeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is an added advantage
• Strong communication and coordination skills
