Job Description:

Atuspay is seeking a proactive, results-driven Loans / Savings / Business Development Officer to act as a key driver of our retail growth. In this role, you will be the face of our innovative digital financial solutions—including savings, loans, and investment services—responsible for expanding our customer base and maintaining the health of our financial portfolios.

This is a high-impact position that combines Sales, Credit Analysis, and Portfolio Management. We are looking for a professional who can hunt for new business opportunities, educate clients on wealth building, and ensure the integrity of our lending operations through diligent repayment monitoring. Requirements:

1. Credit Operations & Loan Lifecycle Management

  • Customer Acquisition: Market and onboard high-quality borrowers for our diverse loan products.

  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough preliminary assessments of loan applications and ensure all KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation is verified and complete.

  • Repayment Oversight: Monitor disbursement cycles and lead the follow-up on repayments to minimize non-performing loans (NPLs).

  • Delinquency Management: Work closely with recovery teams to manage delinquent accounts and implement proactive default prevention strategies.

2. Savings & Wealth Management

  • Product Promotion: Drive the adoption of Atuspay’s savings and investment plans, educating customers on the benefits of financial discipline.

  • Portfolio Stewardship: Manage and grow customer savings portfolios, focusing on high retention rates and increasing "Wallet Share."

  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze savings trends and customer feedback to optimize product delivery and service satisfaction.

3. Business Development & Field Strategy

  • Partnership Identification: Locate new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within assigned territories to scale customer acquisition.

  • Field Activations: Support marketing campaigns and lead field activations to build brand awareness in local markets.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain high-trust relationships with clients, serving as their primary advisor for Atuspay’s digital ecosystem.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a Microfinance Bank, Fintech, or Commercial Bank.

  • Technical IQ: Proficiency in using Mobile CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel) for reporting.

Core Competencies

  • Sales & Negotiation: Ability to persuade and close deals across diverse demographics.

  • Analytical Skills: Basic credit analysis and financial literacy to assess borrower risk.

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to resolve complaints and build rapport professionally.
