Job Description:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing strategic relationships with national and local key account customers across the Snacks and Coffee categories. The role focuses on aligning customer objectives with Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company business goals, driving volume acceleration, and delivering best-in-class execution. The role holder will collaborate cross-functionally to design and implement joint business plans, promotional activities, and customer-specific initiatives that enhance brand visibility and commercial performance. This position plays a critical role in supporting the company’s 24/7 category ambitions and will contribute to the growth of the Snacks and Coffee portfolio through innovative customer engagement and integrated execution.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the design and implementation of Joint Value Creation (JVC) plans with key account customers, ensuring alignment with both short- and long-term business objectives.
- Develop and execute customer-specific promotions linked to strategic goals to increase product sales and market share.
- Manage account receivable reconciliation processes to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
- Partner with internal teams (RGM, Finance, Supply Chain, Field KA) and external stakeholders to support product launches and brand visibility.
- Activate brand presence across digital and brick-and-mortar customer platforms.
- Create innovative, out-of-the-box promotional strategies to expand market reach and recruit new consumers.
- Maintain direct relationships with customers to secure top-of-mind supplier status.
- Negotiate optimal trading terms and promotional investments to maximize value for NBC.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations and Marketing teams to integrate customer activation plans and deliver impactful execution.
- Travel nationwide to support regional teams and ensure consistent delivery across markets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Communications Engineering, or a related field
- 6–8 years of post-graduation experience, with 4–6 years in Key Account Management within FMCG
- Proven track record of managing national and local key accounts
- Experience in delivering commercial results through strategic customer partnerships
- Relevant professional certifications in sales or account management are an added advantage
- Willingness to travel extensively to manage customer relationships and support field execution
- Deep understanding of FMCG sales dynamics, particularly in Snacks and Coffee categories
- Familiarity with SAP and digital sales platforms
- Project and change management skills
