Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Internal Sales Engineer to provide essential support to our sales and procurement operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our sales process, ensuring that customer requirements are met through accurate procurement, seamless logistics coordination, and professional administrative support. The ideal candidate has a background in Mechanical Engineering, a sharp analytical mind, and a proactive approach to supplier and customer management.

Requirements:

Procurement & Supply Chain

• Purchase Management: Process purchase requisitions and generate accurate purchase orders in a timely manner.

• Supplier Relations: Obtain quotes from local and international suppliers, compare pricing for cost-effectiveness, and resolve any discrepancies with deliveries or quality.

• Inventory Control: Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming products to verify quantities and quality standards; maintain up-to-date procurement records.

Sales Support & Logistics

• Administrative Excellence: Assist the sales team with documentation, maintain the customer database, and ensure all invoices are routed to the appropriate departments for payment.

• Logistics Coordination: Organize transport for the delivery of goods to clients and maintain constant communication with the sales team regarding delivery schedules and status updates.

• Supplier Evaluation: Assist management in evaluating supplier performance to ensure long-term reliability and value.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: 1–2 years of work experience in a related field.

• Core Competencies:

  • Technical Aptitude: Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand engineering/technical product requirements.

  • Software Proficiency: Excellent computer skills, including experience with office software (Excel, ERP systems, etc.).

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers, sales teams, and clients.

  • Detail-Oriented: A highly organized approach to documentation and record-keeping.
