Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Internal Auditor to join our team in Imo. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our organization's assets, ensuring the integrity of our financial records, and verifying that our operational processes align with company policies and regulatory standards. Requirements:

• Audit Planning & Execution: Conduct thorough internal audits across various business units to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.

• Risk Assessment: Identify potential operational, financial, and compliance risks; propose practical measures to mitigate these risks.

• Reporting: Prepare clear, concise, and objective audit reports detailing findings, risks, and recommended corrective actions for management.

• Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all departments are operating in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable laws/regulations.

• Process Improvement: Partner with operational teams to recommend improvements in workflows, documentation, and resource utilization.

• Audit Follow-up: Track and verify the implementation of corrective actions arising from previous audit findings to ensure sustainable improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualification: Candidates should possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Certifications: Professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIA, or CISA) are highly desirable and will be an added advantage.

• Experience: Previous experience in internal or external auditing within a structured organization is preferred.
