Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Internal Audit Officer to anchor the compliance engine of our Lagos operations. In the specialized landscape of regulated industries where organizational integrity is the primary metric of stability success is defined by "Governance Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex financial data with the clinical precision required for Risk Assessment, Internal Controls, and Regulatory Oversight. This role is designed for a "System Architect" with at least 3 years of experience who can blend "Analytical Grit" (conducting thorough examinations and data analysis) with the "Strategic Agility" required to identify process improvements and mitigate inherent operational risks.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Risk Governance

• Audit Sovereignty: Develop and execute annual audit plans based on comprehensive risk assessments with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Internal Control Effectiveness."

• Risk Architecture: Identify inherent risks and provide recommendations for mitigation, providing the "Structural Foundation" for enhanced operational efficiency.

• Integrity Stewardship: Monitor the implementation of control enhancements, ensuring the "Source of Risk Management" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Financial Logic

• Analysis Sovereignty: Analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance, acting as the primary "Source of Data Integrity."

• Reporting Architecture: Prepare comprehensive audit reports for management review, providing the "Functional Foundation" for data-driven decision-making.

• Communication Stewardship: Effectively present complex findings to senior management and audit committees, maintaining the "Source of Stakeholder Transparency."

3. Operational Integrity & Compliance Power

• Regulatory Sovereignty: Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and industry trends, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Compliance."

• Process Architecture: Collaborate with management to identify and implement operational efficiencies, providing the "Relational Foundation" for continuous process improvement.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Audit Software and Data Analytics to manage multiple priorities concurrently, maximizing the "Source of Audit Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in internal/external auditing or risk management.

• Certification: Advanced degrees or professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CISA) are highly preferred.

• Technical Power: Proficiency in Data Analytics and Financial Analysis tools.
